This is my hearts desire for all of us.
Below are the minuterized versions of the 36 designs included in this book.
These Mandala Coloring Books contain a variety of mandalas
which I created over the years. They are based on different
degrees of complexity.
My intention was to capture and express specific energies in
this form, energies which resonate with different aspects of
ourselves. They are a part of the ancient and universal
language of light and can help us realize our common heritage
and language.
Mandalas have been used in traditions all over the globe, by
Tibetans, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, the Aboriginees in
Australia and Africa, the Celts and Native Americans, to
depict archetypal or cosmic events and make sense of the
often confusing and chaotic daily lives.
Each tradition has found its own unique symbols to
represent their experiences with the seen and unseen worlds.
Many of the traditions create very intricate and elaborate
mandalas in sand or other temporary media. This is done to
offer us the understanding that all physical form, no matter
how intricate or beautiful, last but a moment.
Yet it is of great importance to put everything we can into it, all of our
passion, our skill, joy and love. The beauty we thus create
remains in our hearts long after the form has disappeared.
Circles have the quality of uniting the infinite with the
finite, of spirit with matter, of the universal with the
personal. This ability serves as a bridge, which our bodies,
emotions, minds and souls understand and unite on.
Each point on the circumference is of equal importance. Thus
the Being or Spirit or One that is us can choose to express
itself with equal ease in an infinite variety of ways.
